I changed my email address in my Daz3D account to get away from one I do not use anymore. However when I changed my email address so that I can log into Install Manager, Install Manager is showing only 2 out of 2700+ installed. I checked my paths and they are the same so I dont know if there is something else I need to change so that Install Manager is showing everything that is already installed. I changed my email address back in my account and everything is back to normal. No big deal, I would just like to update my email account to one I use.

Did you also change the Name used, or just the e-mail address? You must have created a new account to be able to modify another, because you cannot change the current account's details. Are you using the same Name with a different e-mail address or a different Name with a different e-mail address?
DIM records which account installed the product, so if you change it, those products will no longer show as installed by the current account. That particular nugget of info is stored in the .dsx file in the Manifest Archive. They are plain text XML files, so they can be edited to change the "UserAccountInstall" value to the one you want to use. You can batch replace a string using something like notepad++ to find and replace in files. I recommend replacing the whole line, not just a single word.
You don't need to make a new account to change the email address for your Daz 3d account. You simply edit it here https://www.daz3d.com/customer/account/edit/
Oops, I took it to be the DIM account. Did the two not match? How would you have been able to log in with DIM and get your products if the site login was different? I'm missing something here...
I did that & had to use the DIM to uninstall & reinstall all packages. It took a while but since you can queue your entire product list it's not so bad. You just go do something else while it runs. I have all my prior purchases downloaded & saved locally though in a place where DIM knows about.
If you were using a non-default location for the Manifest Archive and switched to a new account in DIM then you would need to update the paths for thata ccount to show the previously installed content. The isntallation data itself is not tied to the account (though it does record the account from which the instalaltion was made).
I'm not sure if it is still necessary, but what I did when changing my email was create a new account in DIM with dummy data and make it active, then I could edit the email of the maina ccount and switch back to it.
I simply went hent here, https://www.daz3d.com/customer/account/edit/, and changed only my email address. I had purchased a few items and when I started Install Manager, it stated, "Unable to login to the specified account. Verify the email and/or password and try again." I added the email that I changed it to in the above link and it logged in and only showed 2 of 2700+ items installed. I went back to the above link and changed the email address back. Changing it again to the original address in Install Manager, everything return to normal. I will try the suggestions mentioned above except for reinstalling. It would be nice to get the DAZ newletter but im not about to uninstall/reinstall just to get it. I definitely will look into the batch change Northof45 and I will recheck my paths Richard. I will post my results. Thanks for everyones time!
Ok, I just got through going through the suggestions and Richard, you were absolutely right. The paths were set to the default locations. Thinking back, Chohole was correct and I was absolutely wrong. I did create another account. I did this because I was afraid of messing something up. Once I went through the steps, even looked at the XML files Northof45 suggested, I looked at my paths and there was the issue. Fortunately I had documented all of my paths when I did a full install on my new system. I appreciate you guys taking the time to help me out.
You'd be surprised how often it comes up. Glad it worked out easily for you.
