Random figure picker

I have no idea if someone has done this already, but one thing I find myself having trouble with everytime I start a new scene is picking which figure to use (yeah I bought a bit more then I thought I need). So one thing I would like to see is a script that could make this a lot easier by randomly picking a figure, with a blacklist in case there's a figure you don't want to be picked.

While not exactly what you want, thiis does the job and does it well https://www.daz3d.com/simtenero-randomizer

It lists all the morphs you have installed for any figure and then creates random figures based on the morphs you want and the parameters you chose. It's great for creating unique characters. I linked to the first version since I like it better than the second one, but either will get the job done.

    Hello @FSMCDesigns!

I was going to suggest that as an idea, but I knew they'd be like NOOOOooooo that's not what I want.

    lol

I suggest getting some of those D&D kinda dice...maybe at a gift store, with like, all the letters of the alphabet.

Toss the dice and get a letter and a number. Sort your FIGURE list by A--> Z and use the letter + number

Or get a 26 sided die and toss it twice. Once for the letter of the alphabet and the second throw for the number of figure down the list.

Want to get spicy> Flip a coin to see if you count forwards or backwards.

If you list all the characters from whom you want to choose (I think you'd have to type this out manually, but you could store it in a text file somewhere so you could reuse it subsequently), you could then use a webpage like this to pick one: https://www.textfixer.com/tools/random-choice.php

You could use the same technique to pick random hair styles/colours, eye colours etc.

It wouldn't be as convenient as having the function built into Studio, but it is a very flexible approach and doesn't require any funny-shaped dice!

D&D must not have been part of your childhood.

I STILL find die every so often.

Played plenty of D&D back in the day, still have all my dice, but never had a 26-sided one.

but never had a 26-sided one.

Those are sold at gift shops.

(like at that store that sells Rock&Roll t-shirts and other collectibles)

    Or here, online.
