How do you restore a minimized, undockable pane window?

I undocked the render settings tab, and made it undockable.  Now I can minimize it, but how do I restore it again? When it minimizes, it doesn't go anywhere it can be clicked on again.  The only way to restore these minimized, undockable windows is to minimize and restore DAZ Studio which is annoying.

Also, is there a way to make a docked window float over the viewport (area where it renders) instead of pushing the viewport to the side?

The restore issue may well be a bug, I would certainly open a suppor ticket to report it.

If the Viewport is docked with another pane that has a minimum size greater than the current size of he pane it will extend the Viewport under the edge of the pane group to the right (unless this has been chnaged) - which was very annoying. There isn't a way to deliberately do this to the elft or without issues.

A minimized undockable pane window should leave a small window control bar (restore, maximize, close) at the bottom left corner of the desktop, just above the taskbar.

  • Now and then the small popup showing render progress has 'vanished' from sight. It was still working rendering to a new window.

I discovered that from the taskbar to right-click and select 'show Desktop' - then clicked again on the taskbar icon to bring up the active D/S - that would bring up the vanished pane as well.

Unfortunately I'm not seeing that. Once i minimize it, it's gone forever, unless I minimize and restore DAZ Studio.

Yea, this is what I"m doing right now.  I have to minimize and restore DAZ Studio very quickly. It's not that big of a deal, but a solution would be nice.

    Sounds good.

    I see.
