Using Arki's Ocean Queen in DS 4.12

According to the store page Arki's Ocean Queen is supposed to work in DS 4.12, but everytime I try to pose her the membrane of the wings either stay stationary or crumple.

Everything else seems to work, but not much you can do with a wingless dragon that has only bones for wings.

Any help would be appreciated, just point me where I need to go.

I'm really surprised it says it works in DS since it's supposed to be a poser weightmapped figure...

As for the wings membranes, they're poser dynamic items, hence why they're stationary. I suppose they could be made to work with dForce, though.

The wings and membranes that come with the original package load as props, and are not conforming, BUT, you can pose the membranes using the same pose preset or with the built-in matching morphs.

I don't have my originals anymore just the ones from my products library here.

Since it says it works in DS 4.12 on the page I thought perhaps I was missing something.

I"ve tried to match up the membranes with the limbs but I can't get them to look right at any angle.

    Thanks for responding. Appreciate it.

To clarify, the wing and tail membranes are separate props (.pp2), there are a number of smaller conforming parts loaded with .cr2's. If the Dragon Queen is zeroed out and selected in the scene, then the prop membranes will load parented in the proper place, and follow the poses and morphs.

  • They won't follow the poses.  The statue pose requires them to curve and bend and they refuse to cooperate.

I've gone through the gambit, making sure IK is off, trying with IK on, adding after posing..etc.

I tried to use her without the wings, but that leaves a gaping hole.

Just wondering why it's listed as working in DS when it doesn't.

Is this a Daz item?   if so can you give a link to it as I can't trace it

I suppose "follow the pose" is a bit misleading. They will morph to mimic the included Ocean Queen poses if you apply the same pose to the membranes. They will not follow any random movement of the bones, it must be one of the included poses.

Attachments show the Ocean Queen as loaded, and the parented wing and tail membranes as loaded. The next two are one of the lying poses, and the following two are the statue pose.
