Daz to Zbrush, Whole character with clothes, fix various problems and back ..?

I'm curious about how people manage an asset heavy character.

I have Michael Genesis character that has extensive zbrush work applied as a morph target.

On top of that I have layers of clothes; a shirt, jacked, belts etc ... applied using the; Fit to' option ...

Since applying the zbrush pass/moprh, i now have lots of holes poking through; So i've dialled up the collision detection ... with does a semi ok job .. however still lots of holes.

So i was wondering if at this point I could try something to make this character more manageable without losing the clothes and morphs.

Could I somehow bake the clothes down to a morph? (given the clothes keep updating the collision thing) and then maybe I could send the clothes to zbrush, fix the remaining holes and pull it all back?

In the end, i'd really like to take this whole character into zbrush, fix everything, bring it all back and have it working fine ... Is there no easy way to bake all the clothes to a single outfit asset? .. so i could apply a single morph to the whole outfit at once ..?

Any thoughts appreciated :)

Thanks
David

Have you just tried a Push modifer yet? Add one to the the clothing that needs it and adjust. You might wish to turn collision off or down and see if Push will do it all.

If you use Send to ZBrush on the base figure and then a clothing item or multiple items in turn they will load in ZBrush as Subtools, at which point you can adjust to fix poke-through.
