is there a technology advance tween M5 and M6?

aside from the shape, and i think the eye mapping.
Is there some technology that makes M6 more advanced?
is there a reason why i would want to migrate M5 shapes and uv maps to M6?

M5 is based on Genesis 1 and M6 is based on Genesis 2 technology
but, what's the advancement between gn1 and g2?
if iz just the shape, then would it be better to make transfer utilities for the g2m shapes to gn1?
In G2M the weightmaps are better and specifically for the male-oriented shape, the rigging and bending is better too.
Also, with the addition of more polygons in key areas of the figure, such as the face (and other areas), you are able to obtain more realistic expressions and, as MM3 said, more natural bends at the joints.
