ERROR WITH STRAND BASED HAIR

hi, i need help, im making a scene with 8 genesis female, and it works well, but when i start making a strand based hair and save the scene, when i open again the scene it doesnt open and it crashes all my scenes that ive been create with strand based hair.. i save as as scene, its because of that? literally every single scene that have strand based hair it wont open anymore

    can you 

    1. open up daz 

    2. go to help->troubleshooting->view log file and look near the bottom of the text file to see what error it gives?

    You may have turned on iRay Preview in the DAZ Studio ViewPort or changed how much resources the ViewPort can use. Open DAZ Studio wthout a scene and change the viewport setting back to their defaults.

    hiiiiii, thanks for answer<3 look, i search and i see a lot.

    i see a lot of forums about this but i think i dont get it yet so first i uninstall daz studio pro with DIM then i installed again and this happened first:


    PostgreSQL CMS connection, such as context aware content views and loading content installed using the Daz Connect service, will not be available.  Check your network, anti-virus, and firewall settings for conflicts. 

    (I think I had already appeared before )

    hi thanks for answer,  i see that my viewport always is on texture shaded or smooth shaded! but when i use iray i dont have any troubles(when i open the scene is on smooth or texture, when i want to see like lights or something, I usually use ithe iray mode) its that what u saying? :)
    i cant see any button that says turn viewport as default or something:(

    do u guys think that i need to uninstall everything and install evrerything again???? i want to do it but im not really sure, bc i do some actors and i dont know if  i uninstalled everything my files are going eliminated too

    i try to run daz as administrator but my computer says this: 
    Permissions Error
    Daz studio cannot be run with elevated permissions

    maybe this is not the problem, but im trying everything i see on the forums but i think this is another problem,, cause it happends just when i use strand based hair

     

    i can open another scenes without strand based hair, but every single scene that have strand based hair, it wont open anymore and i dont know what to do :C

    Don't try to run applications as dministrator - it is likely to create issues with folder/file permissions that may stop the application from running in future. If you had tried it wth an older version of DS, or with Install Manager, it maya ccount for the issue connecting to PostgreSQL.

    hiii, nooo i didnt, i just see on the forums but my computer says that it cant be possible so i didnt, and nooo, this computer is new and i install daz with this new update

    i running Avast Free Antivirus and Windows Security is activated

    i uninstalled daz studio with my antivirus turn off, then i installed again with DIM, again, with my antivirus turn off... but i dont uninstalled my DIM...

     

     

    I had also downloaded Daz Studio directly from the website, but it was 4.11, then 4.12 appeared and I downloaded it from the DIM.

    I checked my downloaded programs on my computer and I still had 4.11 and its Postgrade installed.
    uninstall it because now I have everything in my DIM

    It is saying that you need to update your drivers. That is probably the answer. Did you try doing that?

    You need to update the driver for your graphic card.

    Are you aware that if you go to the Nvidia website to look for updates, that there is a Studio driver? That may help.

    Where do you see that?

    Also, what graphic card do you have exactly?
