Those are texture images. To use them, load whatever models you want to texture with them and then from the Surface Panel, select the surface(s) and apply the images to the desired dials. For example by the Diffuse/Base there is normally a colour showing with a little box that has a very tiny arrow. Click on that arrow to get the options to browse to the folder containing the new textures and select one.
You will probably want to look for an appication/plug-in for creating normal maps at least - there are some freebies, I believe - as otherwise the result may be too flat. That set is really more a set of ingredients for creating content than something that's ready to load and render so perhaps not the ideal starting point - there are some masonry sets in the store that have had the additional map types created and come with presets to apply them to a model (click on the area you want to modify with the Surface Selection tool, then apply the preset you want); depending on your skills and interests you might want to swap the product, though learning how to get from a texture to a material can be interesting and fun and opens the door to modifying your own photos for a really personal creation.
Here is one popular application for making other maps for one's textures: Materialize.
how do i get texture file to expand to use with surface; software dirtyoldwalls purchased from DAZ3d?
What texture file and what surface? And what is dirtyoldwalls?
You don't appear to have anything selected. Open the Scene tab up by the aux viewport, select whatever you want to apply the texture to, and report back if you still need help.

You can use the Tools>Surface Selection Tool to select both the model and one of its surfaces, but note thata s mentioned above the texture resourece set is just that - textures - without presets for applying them, so you will have to go to the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane.
Thanks to all.
No importer for the file format can be found? What is the correction for this,, anyone!!
When doing what?
