What to shut off in SLI

I have two Nvidia1080ti running in SLI mode. I have read that Daz Studio 4.12 actually works slower in SLI mode. I think this is happening to me.

What do I shut off or change in the Nvidia manage 3d settings/program settings to make Daz work optimum?

I need specifics.

If you could direct me to a page where this is discussed that would be fine. Otherwise, it woudl be good to lay out the details of this procedure so others can find this discussiona and benefit from it.

Thanks in advance

There doesn't seem to be an SLI on or off switch that is clear to me in the parameters of the programs page for Daz Studio.

DAZ does not control SLI.  You only need to shut it off if you're using iray to render (3delight is CPU based).

To disable SLI, use the NVIDIA Control Panel.  I've never done it because I don't configure SLI to begin with, but you can look online for instructions.  It's probably Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings, disable for DAZ.exe or whatever.  Hopefully someone else has more details for you.
