Can't reinstall Daz on a reformatted Windows 10 machine
Hi, hoping for a bit of guidance on a realy basic problem. I previously had Daz3D installed on a Windows 10 machine. I then reformatted the PC using the Windows 10 PC Reset function. I'm now struggling to understand how to re-install Daz.
All the download links to install Daz seem to point to this page: https://www.daz3d.com/register-for-daz-studio However the "Already a member? Login here" button doesn't seem to do anything - so how do I download it? (I've opened a support ticket for that). I'm actually logged in, so I don't know why it doesn't show me a download link.
I did manage to download the Daz Install Manager program, and that seems to say that I already have "DAZ Studio 4.12 (Win-64 bit)" already installed - does that mean that it wasn't uninstalled when I reset the PC? If so, where is it and where can I run it from? All I can find in "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\" is the download manager program, not Daz Studio itself.
Thanks
James

If the Manifests folder was preserved then DIM wills till think anything that was installed still is, though ti won't be. Try selecting DS (and any plug-ins you installed) plus PostgreSQL in the Installed tab, then right-click and select the Reinstall option. Whether you need to rinstall content will depend where it was, you will probably need tor ebuild the database in any event.
Thanks Richard that worked - I didn't realise you could right-click items in DIM! I hit "re-install packages" on Daz Studio, and I got the program back. When I opened it, there was an error about the Postgresql database. So I quit, and re-installed ALL the packages in the installed list. Now everything works :)
