Mac OS Upgrade Disables GPUs?
I run Daz on an old trusty Mac Tower 5,1 with a couple Nvidia evga 680 cards. I upgraded to OS 10.12.6 and that triggered an alert to upgrade the Nvidia drivers. Did that but they still aren't recognized in Daz in order to render in Iray. Is there a fix for this or do I just migrate back to the old OS from my time machine backup?

I'm on High Sierra, 10.13.6, a late 2012 iMac with a piddly little NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M, and I have drivers that are working—I mean, as far as it goes.
I'm about 99-percent certain that after High Sierra, Mac completely shut out all support for Nvidia.
I recommend you look at this site at GitHub about Nvidia drivers for Mac: https://github.com/Benjamin-Dobell/nvidia-update
And this one: Nvidia Web Driver updates for macOS High Sierra (UPDATE Jan 29, 2020)
Hopefully, those will tell you everything you need to know.
Do bear in mind that Iray updates periodically drop support for older hardware (as noted in the rlease details for any Daz Studio version that includes such an update), so it is possible that your hardware is no longer supported by nVidia, or that the driver requirement at least is no longer being met by your system.
That may be the case. I don't believe my machine will go beyond OS 10.12.6 so perhaps the issue is a hardware/software incompatibility.
