Is there a way to align an IK chain with a null?

    I'm not sur what you mean - you should be able to parent the target to a null.

    Well yes, yoiu can do that- basically this is a work around for the IK issue. If the right hand's IK loses it's place, hit align and-bam! back in place. However The IK chains don't want anything to do with the align command it seems.
