Missing textures

Hi dear DAZ friends,
I basically need important help. You have helped me before, thank you very much, but now I have a new problem. Before I think anything negative about DAZ Studio I try to solve my problem with your help. Maybe I'm making mistakes as a newbie. Now to the point. I specifically searched and bought a lot of files for my work, but some of the textures are missing. I try to find the missing textures with my search engine, to no avail. I kindly ask you guys to help me. I have some such files that don't work and there are no textures. It is strange that this problem is not solved. So, I appreciate your help and I thank you in advance.
I apologize for my poor English language skills. Google helped me. Thank you
And something else: what does "Compatible Figures: N / A" mean?

I work with Mac Pro. •. macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6

Many, many Dan

None of the error messages you posted are missing textures, they're missing data files (ie geometry). Which means you're missing some required products or they're not properly installed.

In this case it looks like you're trying to use the zombie dog but DS can't find Dog 8. Do you have Dog 8 installed? If so, does it work properly on its own?

As for "Compatible figures: N/A", it simply means that this item is not made for one of Daz human figures line. So you'll see that on most sets, on items for animals, and so on.

  • Hello Leana,
Thank you so much for your help,
I uninstalled the whole file and then reinstalled it, also installed the entire folder. I tried to open all actors but the same messages came up. In the attachment you can see that everything is installed (in any case, I think). Maybe you can find another way I can do it.
    I thank you again.

it does not look like you have daz dog 8 installed, it wont work unless you have it

  • Hello Cheryl_S,
    thank you for your writing.
As I wrote before, I installed the file with DIM and I still used and installed "Download this entire order". What I would like to know how did you find that not everything is installed. Of course I have to say that I am a newcomer and I am happy for any information. I have no idea what and how can I install something else. I attach some pictures, maybe one can better judge what I can or must do.
    I thank you again.

What Leana and Cheryl_S mean is that the GP Zombie Dog product requires you to own and have installed Daz Dog 8 - see the product pages (screen prints attached)

Do you own Daz Dog 8? Have you installed it? It seems that you may not have.

    Hello MelanieL,
Thanks for your writing. Now I understand what Cheryl_S
meant. I also bought DAZ Dog 8, installed it and everything is going well now. I have a lot to learn.
    I thank both of you
