Scene disappears between keyframes

I was trying to do an animated scene, everything was going fine adding keyframes, then I noticed after about the 6th or 7th that if I click anywhere on the timeline that is not a full keyframe everything disappears from the viewport, even the grid is invisible.

WTH?

No I did not mess up the camera pose the scene disappears even in named views without using the camera.

What happens if you click the frame icon [ ] at top-right of the Viewport?

Nothing happens if I press fit view.

  • check your camera translation and rotation on the preceeding key and on the inbetween key to see if it's "jumping", that is it massively changes the values.

If you have the camera set to "point at" and you exceed a certain amount of rotation, it can cause the camer to flip then correct.

    just a possibility.

As I've mentioned everything disappears even without using a camera. As in perspective / front / etc views

  • Had the same thing happen multiple times. Look for "inf" value somewhere on the frame where everything disappears. Are you, perhaps, using a script mcjHoldon / mcjAutolimb?
