SOLVED! Ease of access for Scripts and tools

Hi all,

I have 2 questions related to ease of use of various tools and scripts I have.

1. I find myself using the Fit Control script very often. Is there any way to create a shortcut for it or add it to the menu or anything like that? Anything that makes it easier to access than having to go to the product each time.

2. I saw that some people have a more comprehensive top bar with more tools. I would like to add some commonly used tools there as well but I don't know how to do it. Any ideas?

    Highlight fit control in the content library, Right click, Create custom action.

    This will add fit control to the Scripts or Favorites(4.12+) menu.

    F3, or Window>workspace>customize, Brings up the customize daz studio popout.

    Expand the Custom section in the left pane and you'll have the item there.

    In the right pane select Tool Bars and drag and drop the fit control to which ever section you prefer.

    You can also make a new tool bar specifically for custom actions if you prefer.

    If you want a bit better icon, you'll need to create one in an external progarm, but the default png may suffice.

     

    sidenote: you can also add a shortcut to the fitcontrol under the custom menu in customize.

    highlight, right click, change shortcut.

    The create custom action is nice, and I might use it for other scripts but since I use this so much I added it in the top bar.
