Aeryn looks the closest... Very good, either way. Especially around the eyes.

Thanks, Xenomorphine! I used Renderosity's Sersee V4. The eyes were perfect!

Here's my attempt. I've been working on a character that looks like Claudia Black. This one is Aeryn Sun from Farscape. Any suggestions or comments?

    Thanks,
    Jill

Looks very close to me. Possibly a little younger in appearance than Aeryn. The eyebrows are the biggest difference I see and they're not that far off. If you need some brow morphs, DieTrying's morphs (for V4 and converted to Genesis and G2F, all three versions available at sharecg) have some good ones.

Thanks, Scott! I had some problems with th brows. I'll try the Die Trying's brows. Thanks for the suggestion!

Wow, they are available for Genesis 2 too? Yet another reason why SickleYield is my hero, as if I needed one. These are a must-have. I am seriously behind the times.

Jill, I could instantly see this was Claudia Black. I'm more familiar with the Aeryn look but both look great. There's also some fantastic work in the entries thread... but why oh why did JoeQuick remove the turtle? It was an impressive entry.

    Thanks, Jindi!

Who Loves Ya Baby? Just posted these over in the entries thread. I had a hard time deciding on which reference to use as Savalas played Kojack for so many years, but almost never seemed to pose for a profile. I ended up having to use profile references from the Twilight Zone "Talking Teena" ep and The Dirty Dozen when he was a bit younger. We definitely need more Nose and ear sets for genesis, as I had to dip into the Fairytale and Creature morphs to get these.

Great job...very recognizeable right away! Looking up pictures to compare to...it's kind of hard to find her with a neutral expression, isn't it? She's so emotive. :)

I think her jawline is a little rounder/less angular than your character's. That's the main difference I see.

Lots of excellent characters in the entry thread. To those who have already posted there, I will have some more specific comments after the contest closes. If you haven't posted to the entry thread, you have two more days after today to submit your work. :)

Here's where I am with Scully and Mulder. Not perfect but getting better I think. Mulder I'm pretty happy with, though the eyes are still slightly off, and there's something odd about his mouth and jaw... Scully I'm finally getting somewhere with, I think. I changed the morph formula some, switched the texture to Tamesis, and used Nordic Hair.

I converted Mulder's skin (Elite Jeremy) to the AoA SSS shader. Haven't done that with Scully's yet which is why the skin tones look so different even under the same lighting.

I put in an entry last night,
I've listed, I hope, everything I used to create the characters except for the morph formulas I didn't see anywhere in the rules that you needed to do that.
Do I have to do that as to be honest that's a lot of work as there are 5 different main characters, and 2 smaller background characters.
Thanks I've had fun doing this even if it didn't really come out how I wanted.

You are correct...morph formulas aren't required for this contest.

Thank you, I'm quite glad to hear that to be honest as it would have taken a while to have done them all, if anyone is particularly interested I any of the formulas I'll be happy to post them.

Looking good, Scott! I like Scully's new skintone.

Thanks, sorry you didn't get it done on time. Feel free to post more characters here in the discussion thread if you'd like to (I've got another in the works myself).

For those waiting patiently, might be at least a couple more days before results are ready--just thought I'd give fair warning... :)

Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who entered!

I also want to take a moment to recognize the really cool non-entered characters here in the WIP thread. Thanks all for participating!
