Blacklight District
This is my first attempt at doing a freebie challenge. If I do it wrong, let me know so I can amend my error right away.
It was a real challenge figuring out where I'd gotten everything from, and some of my content is no longer available. Just ended up being easier to find new stuff, lol. My concept changed in mid-flow at least three times because of it, lol.
If anyone here is a fan of Almost Human, then this concept will be somewhat amusing. It's not exactly like it, of course, but it's where I got the idea of a 'Sex Bot", but mine needs programming on site to suit the Jon's desires. The rest just kinda manifested on its own.
I really, really, really wanted to do postwork on this, but I will resist until after the contest, lol. (I want the neon colors to glow more)

So there is only one thing that we do with the links. That is to flag them if you need to be signed in to the site to get them. That way we avoid all of the "I can't get the download to work" comments. Some people just put an asterisk to indicated you must have an account. No biggie. Just for your information you can post work your image any time you want and submit the post worked image any where you want with no restrictions from this contest. You can even show it off here if you want. All you have to do is identify the image prior to post work as your entry, just as you have done in your post. Would love to see the post worked image myself.

How did I miss this one? Interesting overall look. What's that pixellation on the left side of the two people, though? It looks like a transparent PNG was surperimposed on the background. Still, the lighting and color tint makes this very interesting.

I believe the reds look so good because of the blacklight. Using it was tricky, though. Lighter colors came out just blue or grey, lol. It either really works cool with texture or really screws them up, lol.

A real black light does crazy things. I had one in my room when I was in high school (graduated in 1971), a four foot tube, not one of those little light bulb thingies. The whites of your eyes would glow, but your skin would be purplish. Some colors would just disappear, others would seem to glow. It made for some interesting parties.

I had a small one in college, right below a poster. I was tickled to find the freebie for this idea. I foolishly have always just added freebie to my runtime, so unless I found the link again, I couldn't be sure what I was adding to the scene. So I went looking specifically for free daz lights and stumbled upon it. :D

DanaI'm actually not sure of the cause. I think it's a result of the volumetric camera. I still haven't figured out how to use it yet. Still experimenting.
Oh. I grabbed the Atmospheric Effects Cameras for DS, but I haven't tried them yet. There are a lot of things I haven't tried yet. Like almost everything. :red:

It looks like it might be a render in Reality, taken out after a couple-dozen cycles instead of the usual couple-hundred.

DanaNo, it isn't intentional. It's probably a result of the Uber Area lights (the only light sources used). Once again, still experimenting. As for rendering, I use 3Delight (either the built-in or stand alone as needed).
