Hi, I am new to daz3d and I am an indie game developer. Can I understand what do game developers normally use daz3d for?
And is there a library of free assets that I can use in my game without purchasing the license? any list of websites?
thanks

If you want to use the content as 3D assets, rather than for pre-rendered 2D sprites or for pre-rendered cut-scenes, then I'm afraid you would have to purchase an Interactive License.
Are you referring to just the freebies content under Daz? or all Daz related assets on the internet? I did found a few websites that provide free stuffs but unsure of the license yet.
Iwas referring to content from Daz - content from elsewhere will have its own license, but in most cases you would still need the daz base figures.
Blendswap.com is a blender based site that CC0 models are free to use in games if you like. It's still polite to tell the author(s) of the model(s) you are going to publish a game using their CC0 model(s) just before your publish though (although they may or may not care of being told).
Also, if you download and install Blender 2.8+ you can use MakeHuman for Blender 2.8+
And if you want a more anime style of character download Blender 2.79b and Make Human for Blender 2.79b and Manual Bastoni Labs anime character packages for Make Human. Now, as far as I know Manual Bastoni has stopped his development of Manual Bastoni Labs at the version compatible with Blender 2.79 b although there is a possibility of you finding someone else has taken that version of Manual Bastoni Labs and ported it to Blender 2.8+. I don't know if a Manual Bastoni Labs has though in fact been ported to Blender 2.8+ so you'll need to search the search engines yourself.
In fact, you'll need to search the search engines & YouTube for how-to tutorials for all that stuff but there is plenty of learning manterial & ready made CC0 models out there for you and you'll have to learn nothing that's anymore difficult then what your were going to have to do with DAZ 3D Store purchased or free models anyway.
Does the daz figures require Interactive license if I am using it for 2d sprite?
