    Is it showing in Photoshop?

    I have not used it in awhile but here is what I found. Win / Daz Studio 4.12.0.86

    I can verify that I see the Plugin installed Photoshop > C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Plug-ins\Plug-ins\DAZ 3D

    It initialiozes and it is accessible via Photoshop > File > Automate > DAZ Studio 3D Bridge. However...
    "Launch Daz Studio" button does not work. Probably because...

    In Daz Studio there is no entry under File – Initialise Photoshop 3D Bridge. This should create a new camera in your scene.

    If Daz wants to try and fix this please contact me daniel at adobe dot com since I am still the point of contact for Photoshop at Daz.

    You appear to have nested plug-ins folders - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Plug-ins\Plug-ins\DAZ 3D - make sure that the applications tab of Install Manager has the Photoshop path set to the application folder, not the plug-ins folder. The initialise step should then tell the OS to run a .dse script, which will open Daz Studio (as long as nothing else has taken that extension over) and have it set the action for the bridge. You have enered the serial number to activate the bridge, I assume (Help>About Installed P;lug-ins in DS)? If that is done you may want to try Window>Workspace>Update and Merge Menus. If the Launch Daz Studio action isn't working Rob suggests trying to run this script in the release build of DS:

    (function(){		var sKey = "InstallPath";	if( App.bitArchitecture() == 64 ){		sKey += "-64";	}		var oSettings = DzAppSettings();	oSettings.setStringValue( sKey, App.getHomePath() );	})();

    Thank you for the tips, I now have it up and running via some assistance from Josh yes

  • I'm got the exact problem posted here. I have no "Initialize bridge" showing in "File" inside of DAZ. i have the option for the bridge inside photoshop via the "automate" menu. Could you provide more details to what you did to make it work?
