Adding Materials to imported .obj
Hi guys,
I'm quite new to 3D-modeling and DAZ (just a few weeks). My goal is to create objects in blender, then importing them to DAZ and finally adding materials.
The problem is that the textures look messed up after I added materials. I'll add pictures of the stepps...
Basicly I exported my object in blender as *.obj, imported it in DAZ, went to the shader tab and double-klicked the material in my library. Any idea what went wrong?
Thanks in advance

That's called stretching. Solution is to redo the uvmap in Blender.
It looks like you need to go back to Blender and adjust the UV mapping. On the lower 'half', you might be able to get away with adjusting the tiling in the Surfaces pane in DS.
Thank you both for your help!
I just created a UV in blender. It's an empty line-drawing (I'll attach it to this post). Is this the right way of doing it?
I also don't understand how to bring the UV to DAZ. I tried adding it via the surface-tab (>base color). The UV in the upper part of the tower is displayed darker in the viewport. The material texture still looks weird.
Thanks and stay healthy :)
Yes that's the uvmap ... but the top part of the .obj also needs to have it looking like that too.
When done, export out the new .obj file. It has the uv information written into its file.
