Poses conversion a bit of a jungle

Along the line, there are quite a few converters out there but it's a bit of a mess. I haven't yet seen any sort of "unified" package allowing for conversion from M4 and V4 and all the way up to G8 male and female. Ideally, whatever character you have in a given gender woulds be convertible to each later generation and provide adjustment, spatial and postural. I can imagine it would be a real pain to build, but it definitely would be worth the money... right now, one is stuck to converting from generation 4 to an old G generation and then only to G8. I could be wrong but I have a feeling that the result of converting several times could be a final result that strays away from the original pose... I could be very wrong of course but after experimenting it sure feels that way.
