Ok i am reinstalling DS because of the new version and I get to the other downloads that are in zip format, the one that goes in resources is fine, it went where it goes.

The one I am having trouble with is the lights where is says all the stuff goes in the content folder but when i go to the contnt folder it is almost empty and all the folders the light download says are in the content folder are all outside the content folder......

Can someone give me an idea of how the content folders are supposed to be set up?

Is this the "Default Lights and Shaders" zip? How exactly did you install it?

I assume you want to install it manually. Extract the zip to a temporary location, then take all the files UNDERNEATH "Content" in that temporary location and merge them with the corresponding folders in your content folder (you won't have most of the subfolders, but you should definitely have a Runtime folder in your content folder.

Yeah I would do that but this is how my library folder looks, at the moment the only folders in the content folder are characters and people, so I need to know do all the folders here go in the content folder?

You shouldn't have a folder named "Content" inside "My Library" -- "My Library" is your content folder, the folder named "Content" in the zips is just a placeholder. Move the folders you currently have underneath My Library\Content up to be directly underneath My Library.

    Thanks.

Been having problems with the forums being .... "unable to receive my input" for an hour and a half.
