HELP!! Some D Force Hairs Not Rendering in Iray

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I have an issue with AprilYSH Ingrid hair and Side Swept Updo Genesis 8 Female Hair

Both are visible in preview, but are not rendering in IRAY, only getting the scull cap. Is there a plug in I need?

Both of these use a different shader to the other D Force hair props

Anyone else got these issues, or is it just me?

    When you say render, is it then an actual render or just Iray in the viewport?

    Oddly enough; it does not appear in the iray preview, but when you actually render it does indeed show up.  This makes posing a little bit tricky (you have to rely on texture shaded view to pose).  Then render for real and it will be there  =D

    You can enable preview in the Parameter tab. Just be aware that this will increase ressource load. So unless you have a powerfull pc, it is best to swith to another mode than Iray preview before render.

    In actual render, I can get to see if using preview, but is it right preview should be on to do a proper render?

    PS my pc copes with preview render, just acnnot see why you need invisible hair... ;)
