Everything installed but DAZ does not find the textures

I installed the Alt Silas 8 file and also installed the necessary other files (Genesis 8 Male Body Morphs • Genesis 8 Male Head Morphs) but still if I want to open an actor file in Silas 8, it doesn't find the textures and then one gray figure opens (see pictures).
I am thankful for any help.

Do you have Silas 8 itself, that what the missing maps are from?

How did you install the morphs?

Many thanks for your help. The file Alt Silas 8 like that (picture no. 1) shows "bought and installed" with DIM (picture no. 2). When I opened it, I tried to look for missing textures, but the textures were not there (image 3). I don't know how to install the morphs. There were no morph files to install. I think I lack important knowledge and information. I am happy if I can solve the problem; I also have a few other files that don't work.

Nor does Alt Darcy mention the need for Darcy - reporting both. [Actually, it is on Darcy - but n the same line as the morphs, so not obvious.]

Well, just want mention: make sure those link settings in the Pereferences - Content - Content Directory Manager, are 100% same as the settings in DIM.

However, some writers made their owner mistake of link setting in their software so that user also facing problem.

Thank you for your help. Of course I bought and installed both required products (Silas 8Genesis 8 Male Body Morphs. •. Genesis 8 Male Head Morphs). When I click on the two Morpfs, no materials are shown (see picture # 1), maybe that's a problem too. I also installed Alt Silas 8, but it looks different than what you showed me (see picture # 2). Of the silas you showed me, nothing was mentioned but required products.

thank you for your writing. Can you tell me where the error is or what I can do (possibly ask for the money back). Silas 8 and both morphs don't work and I'm not ready to buy another file. I just needed a picture of a colored man.

thank you for your writing. This is something new, but the problem is that I don't have much knowledge of the intricacies of DAZ Studio. If you could show me exactly what I can do with 2-3 pictures, I will be grateful for life.

If you don't have Silas 8 (and it isn't showing as Purchased in your screen shot) then you won't have the textures, not listing the Silas 8 character as a requirement was an error on the product page. If you don't want to purchase Silas 8 then you should ask for a refund on Alt Silas 8.

I think Richard means ask for a refund on Alt  Silas 8.

Asking for a refund is pretty straight forward, Daz's customer service are excellant and no questions asked refunds are part of the good service.

If you wish to ask for a refund

On the help page (in the Store) use the Contact US, Submit ticket button, fill in the form, I would suggust that you say that you do not need technical assitance, and how you want the refund - usually it is given in store credit, but you can request the payment method be refunded if you wish. It may take a few days to hear back as they are usually busy at this sort of time.
