Poser version of Rufus is crashing DS 4.12

I am debating on getting Rufus plushie by Lady LittleFox. https://www.daz3d.com/plushies-rufus

I have Poser and I know that Rufus comes with Poser for some time.  I think the Poser version only comes with the Poser version.  I think the version in the store comes with Poser and also 3Delight DS version. 

For some reason the Rufus that comes with Poser crashes DS 4.12.  I am trying to find the log file to see what is going on.  I do not want to buy the full version of Rufus because honestly I doubt I need the 3Delight textures.  I can try to figure something out for iray.  

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with Rufus that comes with Poser so I can load the figure into DS4.12 and use it with iray.

    It does load in DS 4.11, but there is an error message.

    Quite a few items with embedded IK chains were causing crashes when imported in 4.12.0.86, with the changes to the DS IK system. The current Public Build (4.12.175 I think) has fixes for this https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta

    I found out how to install Daz Studio 3 and was able to load Rufus in there.  I was able to load Rufus in Daz Studio 4.5. I could open the 4.5 scene in 4.12, but trying to figure out how to save for future use.  Would a DUF be better than a CR2?

    Just use the Public Build (the beta), or wait for the next General Release.
