Google doesn't bring anything up. Did you get the name right?

Do you mean Visual Computing Appliance (I think), which was an nVidia device with four top-of-the-line Quadros and cost about $50,000? They ran Iray server and were a kind of local, small render farm. I think the equivalent more recent devices have been pitched for deep learning, and I don't know if they are still around.

You don't need a specific device. There are plenty of decent servers that can handle multiple Quadros and any of them could run iRay server.

Once you have a server setup with a few GPU's, Linux and iRay server then you just point your local DS to it.

I'm not even sure if iRay server supports the sorts of distributed rendering needed for a render farm and unless you're rendering movie length animation I cannot even imagine what use you could get out of an actual farm.

You need the details of the server you are trying to use. Those will be provided by the service, or prsuambly as part of the Iray Server set-up if you have a device running that.
