Crashing

So i have build a new pc. one month old an r9 3900x with 32gb ram and a rtx 2080ti.
for some reason i can only get a few renders done in iray mode but daz will crash when i have about 10gb loaded in the v-ram.
as for 3DL, when it works it renders in seconds. but adding a figure with uber surface will crash daz and or will send my pc into blue screen.
on various modes i get errors pointing from kernel32 nt.dll's and the mkv.dll's to just hard reboots. Has daz gone so bad with their software or am i so bad with setting up my system.
combined renders with the graphics card and cpu selected are not possible system will crash instantly.
Anybody else having a hard time setting daz up for rendering? This makes me wanna downgrade back to 4.7 so bad. that version would just render and not putting the fear of life in me when i want to hit the render button

I'd suspect a hardware issue, most likely temperature related. Even with your 2080Ti ten characters are probably dropping back to the CPU, and 3delight is of course using the CPU, so that would be my first thought. Do you have something like CPU-Z or a motherboard utility to monitor the temperatures?
i use both afterburner with additional monitoring parameters. And the utility that came with the msi board.
Temps on iray are 65c at max rendering (some 20 minutes in).
on cpu 3delight i hit a max of 67c.
i can't render iray via cpu at all. complete system crash or hang. and on 3delight the software is extremely sensitive to uber shaders.
daz install is 3 days old. content also. (complete rebuild, sigh).
I'd fired up an iray render so i can show what after burner says. these small renders are doing fine btw
@Eggwhite I have the same issue and have yet figured out what causes it. My temps also run around the same area 67 degrees at most 70 which they run even if the scene doesn't crash and completes. I can recreate the crash every time nearly once I pinpoint a scene that will cause it. Its got something to do with big scenes wether it be multiple objects in the scene or the render size im trying to do. I have run multiple tests and benchmarks with no issues. Have been having this issue since the upgrade to 4.12 and the changes to iray............
@Daventaki His i s my first go at the iray system. been playing with 3dl all the way.
But now with this new build. pff. i'm still in the rebuilding of my library phase. only a handfull of items back in it but am troubleshooting 4 out of the 5 days i'm back on to it.
right now i feel i have wasted several 1000's of euro's for a system that can't Daz. not talking about the amount i have spend on products.
And searching for help is just as easy as it ever was..... not.
