Well, there's the rotation of the Earth, and the ancient Babylonians, and the invention of a timepiece which could be used at sea, and the growth of international trade, and the need for standardization, and 360 degrees divided by 24 =15, and Detroit is kind of screwed because it's right at the edge of a very wide time zone, and then there's agriculture, so yeah, basically it's a Rube Goldberg machine but it's the best we've got.

As free trips go it isn't very scenic.

You know when you need to go to bed, when you expect to install Chrome by using the blender installer.

Is this stupid? I am trying to download a file that is over half a gig in size but wondering why it is taking so darn long?

my Blender was easy to install, just put the glass jug on the slot that turns the blades and remember to keep the lid on. Tastes better in a glass than a chrome vessel too.

The originator of the Stupid Thread is laughing his you-know-what off right now. I've got 30-40 minutes to get dressed before the 3-yr old hits my front door to tell me what all he did over the weekend.

It is with heavy heart I observe the approaching of page 100.
I can still go to page one of this thread and feel bittersweet seeing his funny comments.

...at least intercity buses (like "Running Dog" have loos on board.

When I lived in Seattle I would take this one express bus route between home and work which was a Greyhound-type bus that had comfy seats and a a loo in the back.

No restrooms on any of the buses in my area.

No matter who gets it, the Stupid thread will always be Jaderail's thread.

The 3-yr old just spent an hour and a half scrolling through, looking at the cat pictures and laughing. When his dad came to pick him up, he wouldn't leave until I promised to let him continue on my computer tomorrow.

Great timing, Cho. Ian and I were talking about this cat yesterday. He has scrolled back to p 71 of this thread laughing at all the cat pictures. Thanks to all for entertaining my grandson (and me).
