What are your system specifications? What security software are you running? If you go to Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences for a Mac) is there a settting for the ContentCluster directory in the CMS Settings tab?

I don't know if this will help - it didn't help me :( but here is the answer I got when I contacted Support about this issue:

Our Developers have now released a version of Daz Studio that is more compatible with Macs. If you would like to download this, you can add it to your account by going to the store and "purchasing" it. It is free, you will just need to go through the checkout process to add it to your account.
    https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta

Once this is added, openDaz Install Manager > go to the Settings (gear icon in the top right corner) > Downloads > check the box next to Public Build > click Accept > restart Daz  Install Manager > and you should see this available for download and installation in the Ready to Download pane.

You will also want to install the Beta version of PostgreSQL CMS and uninstall the previous version.

    ------------------------------------------------

If you still get the PostgreSQL CMS error in the Beta:

The web department has suggested that you uninstall Daz Studio and the PostgreSQL. Then go to Library\Application Support\Daz 3D\CMS and rename or remove the ContentCluster folder and the cmscfg.json file located there.

If you can not see your Application Support folder, please go to Go (found at the top of your Mac) > Go To Folder > Copy and paste exactly what I put in between the parentheses (~/Library) > then go to the Application Support folder.

Once you have done that, reinstall first Daz Studio and then the PostgreSQL CMS. Then open Daz Studio and re-import metadata, with the box checked that userdata overwrites product data.

To do this, right click on the Content Library pane, choose Content DB Maintenance, tick Re-Import Metadata, click Accept. Tick User Data and All Products and click Accept.

Good luck! Let me know if you get it working and how you did it!
