Morphing Character when you add new one

When I try to add a second female character it morphs the one that's already there to look like a cartoon female it was doing it with G3 for a while now it's doing it with G8 I have a large database I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what file is causing it. I had it happen years ago with G6 but was able to find it was a Dr. Jeckle data file causing that one.

Is it still loding the figure you wanted, or do you just get oen figure? If the latter check the options in Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences for Mac) on how character presets should be handled (in the Content tab) - you want it set to ask or to always load a new figure. You could also try making sure you don't have the first figure selected when loading the second.
