am i stoned, or are props floating by themselves? continental drift?
can i keyframe a displacement map value? - trying to show a rapid healing scene
thanks :)
wuh ohs. genesis alive went to a folder 'animate plus'
is animate plus included with DS4?
hoping these work on g2m?
michael6 wants to breath
Sorry, Genesis Alive! will only work with Genesis 1. You might be able to make it work transferring all morphs needed like the Genesis evolution Muscularity and the ones I did for my set via Dimension 3D Gen X2 but I cannot guarantee it will work since the paths for the aniblocks won't be the same.
I will be working on an update for this set soon for Gen 2 Female and Male but these new products won't be coming out until at least a couple months. I've been waiting to see if DAZ comes out w Evolution Muscularity for Genesis 2 but so far no luck so I might have to do everything by myself this time which will be a substantial amount of morphs.
PS You don't need animate plus. That was/is the name of the advanced version of the animate plugin but to use the product having animate plus is not a requirement.
thanks.
hmmm, too bad the transfer utility couldn't transfer the muscularity morphs.
was just watching a tutorial, says the s/w is adding an anti-motion, so i'm not stoned after all.
is there a way to turn off the auto anti-motion?
thanks :)
anti-motion?? First time I hear about such a thing? Can you link to the tutorial?

was in this one :) http://www.daz3d.com/great-art-now-bonus-animation-101

I saw the video. Don't know why he would name "anti-motion" something that should have been called "smooth interpolation" perhaps to make it easier for beginners. He is trying to force "linear interpolation" on that cube which is not DAZ timeline's default interpolation. DAZ default interpolation is "smooth interpolation". That is the way the software interpolates movement between keyframes--like a graph's curve. I would have preferred to call it the way it is named in every other software including Studio. This doesn't affects the aniBlocks I've made, aniMate takes care of this problem automatically in its own timeline.
I don't think there is a way to turn this "anti-motion" off in DAZ Studio timeline. The way would be to have a timeline that makes linear interpolation by default. There was a free plugin called Gepetto that I believe could help with this or simply using aniMate timeline's instead.
thanks.
the aniblocks will help some, but for dramatic effect i think i'm going to have to manually key a lot of it. >.<</p>
I have no idea why DAZ did not include this morph for Genesis.
I created my own inhale morph using ribcage volume, stomach depth, and lower stomach depth. Another option would be to keyframe a breathing cycle for each figure and save it as a breathing aniBlock or animated pose for each figure. It's not hard, you just have to get the timing right.
P.s. I have not had any problems using any of the aniBlocks made for previous versions on AniMate.
when a woman is terrified her whole chest heaves, breasts move.
the rhythm is totally different when a person cries.
you can't have suspense without heaving, blinking,
some perspiration would help, too. :)
i can save a homemade aniblock?
the jedi mind trick strangulate your colonels is a complicated morphs
i can save a homemade aniblock?
In AniMAte2 - Select an object in the scene, right click on Studio keyframes - choose "create ainBlock from Studio Keyframes". You can then name and save the aniBlock to a directory of your choice.
thanks. i no haz the animate2.
i found the animation forum, by accident, who knew it was there?
am feeling terribly discouraged at the moment after reading the animation forum.
putted a link in the 2nd degree symbol in my siggie.

looking for drama heightening tips :)
I have always had AniMate2, but I thought the ability to create an aniBlock was included in all versions (I could be wrong). Unfortunately, IMHO you will need at least aniMate2 and KeyMate, if you are serious about doing animation in DS. You can use the built-in DS animation timeline, but it's features are pretty rudimentary, although its fine for creating custom motions, animated poses, etc. You can still use BHV motion, but without AniMate2, the BHV motions are hard to tweak. If you have them, you would probably better off using Poser or Carrara for animation creation. Both of which have much better built-in animation tools. Good luck.
Animate2 only comes with a 30day Trial. It then becomes AniMate Lite until bought. AniMate Lite does not save blocks.
Simon, I am VERY interested to know if you've begun work on this and perhaps have an idea of release date..?
