Iray Shader

Still pretty new to daz...I already know that in PBR Specular/Glossiness section of the Iray Uber Shader the Diffuse node has a part for RGB and a image Map and if i add a map and also give the RGB a value it multiplies and gives us a output but what i am confused is about the glossy colour, glossy specular and other nodes that have a RGB section and a Image Map input and i just want to know is it as same as the diffuse node section, Does it also gets Multiplied? What will happen if I add the existing diffuse texture map to the Glossiness and also change the RGB value at the same time?

As far as I know all mappable values mutliply the map and the value together - however, there is nothing to stop a shader from combining them in some other way if desired (though I think it might be tricky to implement, perhaps requiring a custom brick with its own MDL code).

so Instead of appying an Uniform glossy colour in RGB, if i add a texture to the glossy colour image map the glossy colour will have different colours depending on the texture in lights respective or it will average a colour out from the texture?I apologize if this sounds dumb..total newbie.

At any point on the surface the colour for the property will be the constant value from the colour picker multiplied with the colour for that point (as determined by the UV map) from the image.
