Dynamic Kimono for DS: Confused

Hi, I bought Dynamic Kimono for DS (http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-kimono-for-ds). I realize the product says it's intended for V4, and maybe I should have read that more closely - still, isn't there any way to use this thing with Genesis? If I try, the kimono completely ignores the character. I'm not even seeing a way to bend the kimono manually (apart from deformers, which isn't a realistic option).

So, is there something I can do? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can use the Kimono with Genesis and Genesis 2.

Because of the sleeves the Kimono can not be rigged, hence does not move with any bending or positioning of V4, Genesis or Genesis 2. The Kimono has to be draped along the time line. Here is a quick demo I created on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYQF5Mops-k

Note: When setting up Collision for Genesis and Genesis 2, unclick everything below the root of Gen/Gen2 before draping.

I use most my V4 & M4 dynamic clothing with genesis in animated drapes.
    actually I do animations too
the secret is to start with genesis or genesis2 morphed to v4 or m4 and morph along timeline
for things that will fall down you can rig even it to an invisible M4 or V4 but not have it collide with them and roughly match the poses
