Ok, so I totally adore just about every figure created by Mousso and I love working with male characters. Queue my little brains nearly exploding this morning at the sight of Asher HD in the new releases!
His leading promo looks really amazing. Has anyone picked him up yet?

I have, and I agree his promos look awesome. However out of the box I am struggling to get him to look like he does in those photos. He just doesn't look the same to me... may just be something I am doing. I shall have a play!

I have done a really quick setup and render. This is Asher - wearing Morley hair - rendered in DimensionTheory's fantastic "iRadiance Pro Series 16k HDRIs - Urban Wastelands" set:

I shall do a few basic renders of him as he arrives 'out of the box' and you can get a better look at him :)
Some more of Asher, straight out of the box. No pose, no expression. Shaved hair added, as well as intimates tank.
Try as I might, I just cannot get him to look like his promos. I'm not sure what hair he's wearing in his main promo, at least I'm sure I don't have it. He's still a nice looking character, and he does have an 'Alt Head' which I will try next

Aha! You may be right! I don't own that hair, but I may pick it up later :)
He doesnt have any body hair painted on. He hasthree skin options - Full Mat - No Brows, Full Mat - Stubble, and Full Mat
He comes with eyebrows, anatomical hair and stubble as attachments. I see no option for any other kind of body hair.

Ok, I have done another render of base Asher, standard head with HD applied. Skin Translucency 90, material is the browless option, and I have fitted all hair options - brows, stubble and anatomical.
** I have tried to show as much of the anatomical as I can, without it becoming too risque - so apologies if this is a bit close for anyone... it is merely to try and show as much of the hair options as I can! **

I think Asher looks a little bland in your first render but I really like the subsequent ones. It seems to me like Keanu's Asian ancestry is played up just a litttle - which I appreciate.
He looks great and I can't wait to get my hands on him!

Usually I don't see a massive difference between standard and "alt" heads but I can definitely see a refinement of features in the "alt" head in your renders.
I'll post some of my own once I confirm my cart.
On another note, so many of Mousso's creations are down to like $3-4 today! Oh, glooooorious day!
Now all her ladies finally have a brother. I can see the relation. Awesome!

I know...I was jumping up and down (well maybe not literally but certainly in my mind) when I saw that Mousso made Asher. And yes, my immediate thought was Keanu Reeves
I was thinking a Keanu Reeves type look too. Either way he is hot, I mean good looking.
Well, I was thinking Keanu Reeves even before I got to the longcoat and sunglasses image.
Definitely - Mousso puts out great stuff, so I'm excited to see a dude added to the mix. I can't wait to see the first Matrix render!

:drools: He is so gonna be mine! I have just about all the items mentioned in the promo credits but does anybody know where the turtleneck sweater he's wearing is from? Alao the long coat -- it's a bit familiar and I do have a couple long coats but so far I can't place this one. Thanks.
