Screen Resolution Problem

I just recently upgraded my computer and my Daz program, and I am having an annoying issue with the resolution. Before I was using DS Pro 4.5 32 bit on Win XP - I am now using Win 7 64 bit and DS 4.5 64bit. also changed my video card to a new Win 7 compatible one.

In the default 1600x900, all of my characters appear distorted (Tall and Thin). This applies to both freshly loaded blank characters on characters in saved scenes. The problem, however, only seems to effect the characters, and not objects. For example, a Genesis character that I exported as an object will load and look perfectly normal with no distortion.

I can change the resolution to much smaller numbers and avoid the distortion, but it is much harder to work with this way, and I do not want to have to switch the system resolution just for DAZ.

I have already checked to make sure that none of the compatibility options are checked.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

That sounds very odd. Could you post a screenshot showing the issue as I am having trouble visualising it - please make sure the character is clothed if it has a texture applied.

As it turns out the native 1600x900 resolution did distort other things, but for some reason it was only really evident on figures I generated in DAZ. I suppose it just was all due to the settings the Win 7 wanted set. I played around for an hour or so testing custom resolutions that my monitor could safely run until I found one that worked good for both DAZ and the rest of my daily usage.
