Linear pointights

Hello,

When using linear pointlights is there a setting to make the light beams reach further but without increasing the brightness/intensity too much at the light's origin?

    In Iray or 3Delight? In Iray a linerar pointlight is just a pointlight, in 3Delight the Falloff Start and falloff End settings determine the distnace (in cm) at which the light starts to fade and at which it drops to 0, with a linear decline between.

    I use 3delight, so those are the settings I was looking for. Thank you for that, the amount of settings in DS is mind boggling sometimes!
