    Just curiosity: Is this the same mesh modified for both characters or are they entirely independent meshes?

    K4 has the same mesh, modified from my Genesis version. Gumdrops has the same mesh modified from the Genesis version but with the hood separated from the suit (and so uses a modified template. However, K4 should be able to use the same templates as Genesis.
