Render turns everything white and discolored

Hi there.
After rendering, the objects in the room that I have on a scene are either white slhouettes or are fadey textures and weird colors.
I have tried restarting the program, I have logged out then in again, and I have stopped and started CMS again
Thanks for the help

That seems to be a 3Delight render, in which case it may well be that a Shader Mixer shader is not compiling - check the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File), scrolling to the end just after rendering and then paging back. One fix may be to go to %AppData%/Temp/Brickyard/ (as I recall) and delete the fiels there, then try rendering again.
Hi there Richard. I went to the brickyard folder and deleted the files in it but that did not change anything
I am a newbie, so I am not quite sure what I was supposed to look for in the Log file. Could you explain exactly what it is i am supposed to do on the Log file in order to fix this problem?
Also, I switched to NVIDIA ray to see if that would have changed anything. However, when I did that, it just had a blank screen when I clicked the render button. Absolutely nothing rendered in the image with NVIDIA
Thanks
The messages relating to the render will be right at the end, you could copy the block and paste it here.

Nothing leaps out at me there.
Have you tried clicking the "Default" button, right below the "Render" button, in the Render Settings? Sometimes that has worked in clearing up weird settings that something has automatically changed "for you."
Also, your second attached image shows "3Delight" as the selectd rendering engine, and your log has a lot of "3Delight message" entries. When you say you "switched to NVIDIA," do you mean in the viewport, or for the "Engine" in the Render Settings?
Worth a shot to see if these points fix the issue.
And to check that for sure the furniture has the appropriate shader applied. Rendering with the wrong type of shaders can make things white, black or crash the program.
@ mavante. Thank you very much for your response. I clicked the default button and it did not change anything, unfortunately. Also, I changed to NVIDIA ray on the engine and not the viewport. After giving this a try, like I said, it just was a blank window when I clicked render.
@ Catherine3678ab. Thanks for responding! That sounds like it could work. But how do I change the shader that is applied? Is it a matter of selecting each item in the scene that is either a white or black silhouette or weird color when rendered and applying some shader setting?
thanks!
How long did you wait? If you are rendering to a new window, that window may well be blank for some time while iRay works before it "draws" anything. How long that takes depends on the size/complexity of the scene versus the power and memory of your GPU—or CPU, if you are not using an Nvidia card to render.
Behind that new render window, if you move it or resize it, there should be a small information drop-down window with a progress bar that tells you what iRay is doing. What are your GPU and CPU specs?
In any case, give it a while. Go have a cup of coffee or tea and let it work.
