Mission Patch "Semi-Rigidity", is it Possible?

I'm very new to Daz3D and havnt yet even learned how to make something like Breast insignia such as pilot's wing rigid yet (I know that can be done via Rigid Nodes somehow) But what about a Mission patch or uniform epaulettes?

I'm doing an original universe military uniform and I have metal rank pins on shoulder epaulettes US Army Dress Blues style like this:

It's essentailly a patch like a Mission or Squadron path on a flight suit but in this case rectangle and on teh shoulder. Is it possible in Daz to make something like this "semi-rigid"? So when posing it will twist and bend but not stretch like the example would IRL?

You could adjust th weights to ensure they had the saem value for all parts of the tiem, then it would move as a unit. You'd probably need to add soem morphs to move it (and the cloth around it) in certain poses too.

I would make it a rigid follow node, it wont then be influenced by the underlieing shape of the item. It may then need its own set of morphs to adjust, but that would be something to consider later.

Mesh Grabber would also be an alternative to adding morphs, you could just tweak it as required.
