Is there a 'menu dictionary' to explain the usage of all items?

For example, I want to know the setup value and reason for Min Samples (render settings), and how to use Joint Editor, where can I find the answer?

Tried to search Min Samples in the forum, but can not find any explaination.

Even the Doc Center in doku can not provide any detail of these advanced items.

Well the Joint Editor is a 'content creation tool' - and such activity is normally a rather involved process. So for the 'how to use it' would have to first be the question, what do you want to do?

About Joint Editor, I tried to adjust a pair of sandals, make its heel super high and still can coordinate between the heel and toe platform, when I used those green and red dot of Joint Editor, it was totally a mass, so I want to study details of this tool.

For Min Samples, I saw a lot of discussion on Max Samples, but didn't see any on Min S, someone set it as 2, or 50, 100, but no one clarify the reason, and the difference. 

I also have a lot of questions on Render setting dails, such like Architectural Sampler on/off, Firefly Filter on/off with its Nominal Luminance value, Noise Degrain Filtering value, Post Denoiser Available on/off, Spectral Rendering on/off, etc, so that I wish there can be somewhere to find out solutions like a dictonary.
