Animation Not Interpolating Pose Over Time Period

I set the position on animate2 to the first frame, set my base post, then moved the scrubber to the 7 second mark and set a different pose. When I click play, it keeps the base pose all the way until the 7 second mark and then snaps to the new pose. How do I make it so that the base pose morphs into the pose I set at the 7 second mark? Shouldn't it automatically do that?

    Merged duplicate threads.

I don't have the full AniMate 2, but are you using AniBlocks or plain poses? I'm pretty sure you can set the key frame interpolation type - make sure it isn't set incorrectly.

AniMate and or the Timeline is not the tool that does this for poses as you are wanting. That is done in the Puppeteer Tool from the Window>Panes (Tabs)>Puppeteer. You place your first pose in it and then a second pose. You can then use its tools to create the poses from the first pose to the second pose on your Timeline.
