Converted Hair Render Problems

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

There seems to be a problem with some of my converted hair.  The dark is Super Sleeky and the Blonde is Emilia.  Something from the cap which is supposed to be invisible appears in the renders.  Is there a work around for this?
