WetFX Decals? How to...

Has anyone had any success with this product? I looked for a Read Me or an instructional video but no luck. I load the decal, select in the surface tab and I apply the decal to it, the tints, the reflectivity. All of it, and nothing happens. It's like it's not even there in the render. I thought maybe if I switched from Texture Shaded to Iray view, I might be able to see something but the scene just stays white. I thought, "OKay it's taking a minute for Iray to catch up" but 5 mins later. Still white. I have no idea what I'm doing with this product and I'm really hoping someone out there can se what I'm doing wrong.

    Okay so I was looking some more and found a video that if it were a snake it would have bit me. It turned out you hae to parent the decal to the figure or prop. Then it's easy as pie.
