OBJ files are greyed out in the finder.

I've created some props in my modeling program and saved them as an .obj. But when I try to import all the obj files are greyed out. This is a real problem. Any suggestions?

This is an issue with 4.12.0.86, use the Public Build instead as that has a fix https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta
Thanks. Not sure what the "public build" is, but I'll try it. Am I going to have to uninstall .086 first?
The Public Build is the beta, it installs (through Install Manager) without touching the general release (non-beta) version.
lghtstrm, I'm assuming from the reference to "Finder" that you are on a Mac. A few months ago, I was going insane trying to import an .obj file using the import dialog within Daz Studio 4.12.0.86, and it remained greyed out, even though "wavefront obj" was selected as the target file type. After tears were shed, hair was pulled, and curses were issued, I decided to simply drag the .obj file onto the viewport directly from the desktop, and the import dialog popped up and the process unfolded as expected and successfully. Of course, you may want to drag it from the window of your prefered folder/directory and make sure its associated .mtl file is also located there, because Studio will always look for those in that location if you save that particular scene and reopen it later. If you save it as prop or some other type of Studio asset, I dont think that will be relevant. Richard or another more seasoned user may provide you more insight into that last sentence.
