Question about visual novel and licensing

My friend and i are starting a visual novel. 2d renders, no 3d.

I read on forums that i can use any asset on site site for my game, but where do i show i proof that i own the assests' we're a lil bit lost here.

The license is what you buy when you buy a product, so your product library page shows what you own.
