I have a probably not so odd issue with Silkessence. I am attempting to use the over lay and it will over lap and look great but then I render it and its looping. I'm just wondering what setting I need to adjust to make image 1 look like image 2. As always guys thanks for your advice and help.

This is how it looks after render.

That is a Known issue in the DAZ Studio Version DS 4.6.2.120. The New Beta version has fixed the TLDmake loop error. I have tested it, the Beta, as I also had that error. I can say that so far I have had no problems with DAZ Studio Public Build v4.6.3.29. I will point out that I have not tested all the new functions but so far my old files that use Overlays do work. I use Overlays such as Shaders and other overlays extensively in my work and the Loop error had stopped me from doing my full type rendering. I'm very happy the error was fixed.

Sweet that works for me. I'll just wait for it go live and use the plain colors for a bit.

The Beta has gone Public, it is up top of this very Forum if you wish to look into it and read up. It is up to you if you decide to install it and configure it. The Beta versions can and do install 100% separate from the Release versions so they do not Read your other installed version at all except for the default content folder as set up in DIM. I just finished configuring the Beta to my way of working. I still have not had a single issue at this time and I'm testing every thing I can think to test, 24 hours in no problems at this time.

I don't think that's the looping that was meant - looking at the before and after images, I think you want to adjust the number of tiles (repeats) horizontally and vertically, so that you don't get multiple copies of the pattern (though I'm not sure how well the resolution of the pattern will hold up to rendering without repeats).

Opps The tiling never crossed my mind. I was not able to use overlays for so long.

Cool thank but that also brought up a new question how do you limit tiling? Also other question I I'm trying to insert a basic plain but want to use the material from backgrounds made easy on it is there a way to do that I tried just adding the image to it but it get this tiny square. If you want an image i can post one,

In the Surface pane select the surface you want to adjust (or use the Surface Selection tool to click in the viewport) then adjust the Horizontal tiles and Vertical tiles settings.
