I'm new and got an email offering 5 Free items. I followed the link put 5 items in my cart and when I go to check out it says that there are no items in my cart whle I can clearly see the number 5 in my cart!!

I would try to reach the support for that.. I had a similar issue and they were able to solve my situation..

You probably put them in your cart while the site didn't see you as logged in. Add another item to your cart niw that you'relogged in, it should fix the display (you can remove the extra item afterwards).
