Saving a custom character morph with bones changes as a preset slider

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to save a custom character preset that is a morph (done outside Daz studio) and skeleton change (done with joint manipulation) to the base Genesis figure. I've figured out how to save a morph, and adjust the bones in the scene, but I'd like to have it all connected to an Actor slider.
Thank you in advance for any advice or clarification.

With the morph set and the bones adjusted, you need to do an ERC Freeze - set the Parameters pane to Edit Mode (right-click menu) then right-click on the morph slider and select ERC Freeze. Most of the options should then be correct - your morph should be selected at the top, as the controller, and your joint adjustments should be selected in the list of properties at the bottom. Assuming all is well click Accept and check that the figure is till working correctly - with the default options checked at the bottom the only active change should be the morph set, turning it down should restore the base joint settings. Assuming all is well save the updated morph.
Thank you, that did the trick!
Just to be clear on the steps to take after this:
I would perform a : save as--Support asset---morph asset(s)
If I wanted this to also appear in the Smart Content tab, I would also do a : save as--Shaping Preset
I've done this and it seems to work, but wanted to double check on the process to avoid any confusion.
Thank you again for the helpful response
You can also do File>Save as>Support Asset>Save Modified Assets, and make sure you have only the items you've definitely modified checked.
Thank you again!
I've run into another bit of confusion regarding transferring a morph (created outside Daz) onto an article of clothing loaded from inside Daz content--in this case the Briefs (shorts)
When I initially imported the new morph (a larger belly) onto the main figure the briefs did move with the new morph. But after saving the scene and exiting, returning, the morph on the briefs didn't work.
I've tried using various settings in the transfer utility, but they don't seem to pick up this custom morph
I'm wondering if this has something to do with the fact that the custom morphs for this character have only been saved with the scene file and not as a preset or support asset?
I've gone through the documentation, but any additional insight is appreciated
Thank you
You are right, And it is very important thing to save morph .
these are my understanding,, (hope other user or Richard who have clear knowledge correct me^^;)
When you import "new shape.obj" for "Figure A "as "New morph" by morph loader to Daz studio scene,
you get "New morph" Property for the FigureA (or Prop),
then You can tweak the value by Controller in parameter tab.
But the FigureA on your scene is instance. (which you saved as Figure and Prop etc, then call instance from data by preset files)
so that the "New morph" data have not been recorded witch assgiend for the "Figure A" Assets data.
To save "new Morph" as Assets data which assgiend for Figure A (or Prop B),
you must need to save "New morph" as "morph Assets".
after that you can save the new morph value, as many preset too.(you can save as shape preset, character preset, etc)
As you know,, if the morph has not been saved as Morph, you can not use "save modified Assets" too.
(Once you have saved "New morph",
you sometimes need to overwrite it as same name,(to set new ERC or just change some vertecies delta etc,,)
you can use "save modified assets" for such purpose. )
And,, when you save as scene, if each instances have not saved as real Assets data,
the scene file need to record all data in the scene file.
But once you saved them in data directory,, (save as morph, save as figure and prop, save as morph etc,, )
the scene file only need to record path for each Assets data (and record each property values modified only).
After you save "new morph for" Figure A,
all Figure A of every scene files which you saved before can use the new morph (you can set value) too.
( But actually, when load Figure A isntance from scene file, all properties (include new morph) saved as data
call as instances too, then applied value which recorded only ,, I think so ^^;)
