Can I sort though saved projects by date or is by name my only option in the content library without opening up the window in Windows Explorer?

Why is there a products container? all it has is my most recent projects under the folder L>Local User
L is the only folder in there

what is the category container? It has a hierarchy but when I drill down there is no content whatsoever.

what does the search function do aside from creating a magnifying glass with the word I just typed?

    Now I have a folder called Content Cluster that could not be removed until I forced shutdown on all instances of PostGre.

    what are these things?

    since DS4.9, every item has to be part of a Product.  Anything you make goes into Local User by default.

    Are you seeing ContentCluster inside DS?  That's the CMS database and should't be in your content folder.

    I did see Content Cluster show up in my Content pane in DS. I could drill down the folders but it did not appear to have any content other than folder hierarchy.

    It doesn't have any content that DS recognizes and it shouldn't be showing.  Can you go to Content Directory Manager, expand all the sections, and post a screenshot?

    Two issues:

    1) Normally the CMS Cluster Directory isn't inside a regular content folder.  It's not a problem for it being there, except for 2 things.  First, you see the ContentCluster folder in Daz Studio Formats with nothing in it, so you have to remember to ignore it and not try to save anything there or delete it.  Second, if you decide at some point to move your content folder en masse, you have to make sure both DS and DIM are closed and there are no postgres processes still running before you move it.

    2) "C:\Users\Jimmy\Documents\Studio" is a DS-format content folder, but under Poser Formats you have "C:\Users\Jimmy\Documents\Studio\content", so there's a Runtime folder directly under Studio and a second one under Studio\Content.  It won't necessarily cause problems, depending what you put there, but if there are DS and Poser items that use the same textures you'll have duplicate copies.
