Parenting a Saved Prop

I'm trying to take an old V4 jewelry Poser prop and update it with new materials. I saved it successfuly as a support asset in a new Daz Studio prop folder and it works fine. Only it's not parented. In the prop save dialog the little box for parenting is grayed out. What do I have to do to save it parented (in this case I was working on a choker wanting to parent it to the G8F's neck.

    Try a Wearables preset.

    Aarg. The prop wasn't parented when I saved it. Resaved it as a support asset and now it's a smart prop. Thanks!
